The Grinder, by High Voltage Software (makers of The Conduit) will be a first-person-shooter survival horror game. It makes use of the Quantum3 engine, the same one used for The Conduit. This is an early screenshot of IN-GAME play.
From the looks of this screencap, you'll be able to dual-wield weapons. Also, High Voltage has stated that The Grinder will be able to have more onscreen enemies than any other Wii game thanks to the Quantum3 engine that was built from the ground up by the company specifically to squeeze as much performance from the Wii as possible. To me, it looks like a Left 4 Dead "clone", but I use that term loosely. It looks to me like it will be different enough to not be a complete rip off of L4D. The game will feature online multiplayer as well as the ability to play campaign levels in online co-op, a first for any Wii game. The Grinder will also support Wii Speak and Wii Motion Plus for more advanced control schemes. I cannot convey in words how incredibly excited I am for this game. I just hope it's not an overhyped disapointment like The Conduit.

Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii is a work in progress project to make a brand new user made full game with the New Super Mario Brothers game engine. Within the first few hours of the release of New Super Mario Brothers Wii, a modder named Treeki had already gotten gotten a rough version of his level editor titled "Reggie!" working. When the tool is released, you'll be able to edit textures, swap music, and of course edit objects and enemies in a level thus allowing you to totally create an entirely new game. Click the image to learn more about the project and even join if you like, we'd be glad to have you.

Okay, here's how Community Reviews will work. I'll post my review and rating. Then, in below posts, write your own review and rating and I'll add your quotes and ratings to the first post! Thanks idkcar for giving me this idea.
Get ready for nostalgia as a classic video game icon makes his return back to his, and most likely your, roots. New Super Mario Brothers Wii is the follow up to the DS version of the same name (minus the Wii part of course). It's a reimagining of the classic NES and SNES mario games of yesterday with enhanced visuals, level design and control methods. In this side-scrolling old school platformer, Peach is (yet again) kidnapped from the castle by Bowser and it's up to Mario, Luigi, Yoshi and the Mushroom Kingdom's proud servants, Toads, to put Bowser back in his place. Much like the usual mario platformer, you run, jump, stomp, shoot fireballs and swim to complete levels and defeat bosses. So what's so "new" about this you ask? The Wii's remote gives an unprecedented amount of new gameplay mechanics that make old mario feel like new again. For example, there is a new power up called the Propeller Suit. To propel to the sky, simply shake the WiiMote and off you go! Also, there are certain platforms in the game that correlate to the tilt of the Wiimote of the player standing on it; tilt it right, the platform goes right, tilt left, and it goes left. The most talked about new feature is the 4 player simultaneous multiplayer. You and up to 3 friends can either cooperate to complete levels or sabotage each other to play competitively. This adds a whole new layer of excitement and fun to a game that already is at a grand level of fun. Some gripes are that the controls feel somewhat more "slippy slidy" than the DS version, but it's hardly noticable. And some of the levels don't seem to be made with multiplayer in mind, you'll find sometimes that you're simply trying to keep up with the player in the leading position. But those are minor inconveniences to what is a relatively flawless game. It does what the title suggests, it makes Mario new.

Post your thoughts on the game once you've tried it, and don't forget to vote in the poll! Also, if you have any questions, feel free to ask away!

Another case of throwing the Wii a bone, only in this case, it's a shiny new bone. Call of Duty Modern Warfare: Reflex is a late port of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare for the Xbox 360 and PS3. First off, the most notable thing about this game that sets other Wii FPSs from this one is the truly perfect control scheme and the ability to customize it to your liking. For those of you that aren't aware of the games story, it revolves around a conflict between the US and Russia. For the most part, the game takes place in rurual Russia. If you thought the control in The Conduit was good, you'll be amazed with this. Let's get the obvious out of the way first. The Wii isn't exactly the best performing system of the bunch, so you can say good bye to snazzy graphics and pretty glossy textures. Also, there is a learning curve switching from control stick based movement to the Wii's "point and shoot" scheme. Once you get it though, it feels very natural, especially if you tweak the controls. For me, I've found that the games preset scheme, Marksman, is all I need (with a few button mapping tweaks.) Single player is just the same as on the other systems of course, but you get to experience it with the Wii's controls, I recommend doing the campaign again even if you did it on the other systems, the new controls make it feel like a totally new experience. Now let's get to what everyone REALLY want's to know about, the multiplayer. All the things you'd expect from the other system versions are here, custom classes, ranking, etc. As a matter of fact, it's pretty much a clone of the other systems' multiplayer, the only exception being that a maximum party size is 10, not a biggie, but still a significant change. I've yet to find anything specifically exclusive to the Wii's multiplayer other than the party size and controls, but then again, it's a direct port of the other versions. I'll likely be online in this A LOT. My FC is 0116-9390-7704.
